Horse Day Camp

Horse Day Camp

Children, as young as four, learn how to groom, the basics of horse care, barn safety, and basic riding instructions – to include but not limited to saddling horses, holding the reins, how to walk and trot, and ride a small obstacle course. Every student will work with a horse they individually get assigned. Students also get to decorate their horses with finger paint and bath after, weather permitting. Children will also conduct arts and crafts, such as making a dreamcatcher out of horseshoes. We will have a small break where the campers get to decorate their own unicorn cookies.

Camp also includes a study section where we learn about horses, their breeds, their colors and tack.

Long pants and sturdy boots are required. Bring a water bottle and snack. We will provide all the necessary equipment and safety gear.

$50 per person for 4 hours ever Monday, Wednesday and Friday from  1 to 5 pm, also available different days by reservation for groups of 8 and more (family discounts)

Camps are May 20 to July 30th 2022
